A boa pic (picture) can be obtained through most farms with breeders selling pets.
In the wild these animals feed on a variety of prey – amphibians, lizards, birds, mammals, and other snakes. In captivity they should be fed pre-killed rodents and, when adults, rabbits and chicken. At pet stores there are specially raised, healthy, and well-nourished animals.

These reptiles are sandy brown with chocolate brown marks on the back. Some species have red tail. Boas possess keen sense of smell to detect the prey.
